New Features...

Import and Export of staff, shifts, unit forecast, and patterns provides more flexibility. Staff and some details can be listed in a spreadsheet. When saved as a CSV file the staff list can be imported into the program. When shifts are imported they are inserted into Shift Plans.

Shift Plans can be treated as a to-do list of shifts and dates. Plans are used to queue shifts that need to be booked but not immediately. A powerful way to use this feature is in conjuction with importing shifts. Booking the planned shifts can be managed on the schedule with drag and drop.

Demand Scheduling is a way of matching staff to expected demand. It compares the number of hours scheduled with your expected demand. Businesses that use this feature extensively are quick service restaurants like Subway. Simple measures like the number of transactions, average sale price, and expected unit sales work well. You will clearly see color coded ratios, the hourly demand, the coverage and the percent of sales that is your labor cost.

Notes and break times are on each shift type and on each booking. Notes appear on reports and on the calendars.

Improved...
